Situation
Operating context
PPI lost its final U.S. source for an expanded perforated-vinyl material with little notice, creating immediate inventory, product, and customer-transition risk.

What made the work difficult
The response had to coordinate remaining inventory, substitute-material decisions, product-data changes, order sequencing, customer impact, and communications without treating the issue as purchasing alone.

As General Manager and COO, Dean set continuity priorities and led the material, product-transition, sequencing, and communication decisions across purchasing, engineering, product management, production, sales, and customer service.
